A former resident of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Robinson has more than 20 years of human resources experience in both the public and private sectors. His areas of expertise include equity, diversity and multi-culturalism; staff and professional development training, employee and labor relations, as well as other human resources related areas.
Dr. Robinson’s leadership experiences are within the following organizations: Automobile Club of Michigan, Comerica Bank Incorporated, Henry Ford Health Systems, Shell Oil Company, Pillsbury Bakeries & Food Services, and Several California Community College Districts located within Kern County, Ventura County and Orange County.
Dr. Robinson completed his studies in Educational Leadership at California State University-Fullerton. His dissertation study titled: “Career Perspectives: African American Community College Presidents’ Leadership Development through Grow-Your-Own (GYO) Leadership Programs.” serves as the foundation for his practice. He also holds a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial Relations, from Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Business Administration, from Lawrence Institute of Technology in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Robinson is founding president of the Southern California Council on Black American Affairs; (2009-2011), and served as president of the Western Region Council on Black American Affairs (2011-2013); and has been a member of the National Council on Black American Affairs (NCBAA) Board of Directors from since 2010.
