The First Annual Unapologetically Black and Educated Conference sponsored by the Western Region Council on Black American Affairs (WRCBAA) seeks to place the focus squarely on the measures, methods, and approaches that are underway and can be taken to boldly and courageously support the success of black students. The conference explores the various facets and means by which this goal can be accomplished through the roles black educators have on campuses both within and outside the classroom.
The UBAE Conference will be held at American River College (ARC) in Sacramento California. ARC is a current member institution of WRCBAA, and hosting the conference in this location serves as an opportunity to continue to build a relationship with the institution and its leadership. The Sacramento area is home to a variety of curated hotels, shops and hotel accommodations and is easily accessed via major freeways and home to an international commuter airport.
