Pcyeta Stroud, Member

Pcyeta Stroud is the Director of the Bay Area Entrepreneur Center of Skyline College (BAEC). Pcyeta is an innovative leader, committed to empowering members of her community throughout the Bay Area, with resources through the lens of entrepreneurship. She has over ten years of economic and workforce development experience with an emphasis on mentorship, cultivating entrepreneurship and equity in career readiness practices. Pcyeta co-founded the Student Internship & Job Shadow Program, providing students with opportunities to gain real-world professional experience, career exploration and access to networks of mentors to help them gain skills for engaging in the workforce. Pcyeta founded the Student Business Pitch Competition at Skyline College, mentoring learners in the development of their business ideas. Under her leadership, the program engaged the business community to serve as mentors, resulting in the launch of new businesses. Pcyeta serves a co-chair the Skyline College Business Advisory Board, comprised of business owners and strategic partners from around the Bay Area and is a member of the Workforce Taskforce for the San Mateo County Community College District. Pcyeta is a member of both the Management and Instructional Leadership teams at Skyline College and serves on the Outreach and Accreditation Committees.

Pcyeta is the Board President and Interim-CEO of the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce, she currently serves the City of San Bruno as a member of the Homeless Advisory Committee and has served on the Business and Finance Steering Committee for the San Leandro Business Academy, where she mentored high school students. As an instructor, Pcyeta has taught college-level business courses to high school students as part of the Dual Enrollment Program and led project-based learning programs for the Middle College Program at Skyline College.
Pcyeta is a member of Kappa Beta Delta International Honors Society and graduated summa cum laude, from Arizona State University, where she holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership.
